Happy New Year!

So this year i have a few new year's resolutions... the first is to get my home, my computer, my photos ORGANIZED. Yes, this will be a big task but definitely well needed; especially with the new baby coming soon! The second part of that means keeping this blog updated so grandma and grandpa zona can see pics more often of the new little one. So... i downloaded some new photo software and was anxious to play around! The following are pictures from our trip to the North Pole back in December. Maddux has really been into the Polar Express movie and has definitely become a holiday tradition at our house. So we took a trip with friends and went to Boone to ride the Polar Express!

Ready for Fall...i mean winter

we've all known for sometime now that maddux definately takes after his dad-but recently in even more ways. each days he asks me "how many more days until halloween?" not only because is he excited to dress up for the occasion, but i told him it would not snow until at least after halloween. he is counting the days until he can ride a snowmobile again. but he is exicted for halloween-he decided he wants to be a "PS driver" like his dad, so we got the costume in the mail last week and he wore it for 3 days straight, sleeping in it and all! we even met dad for lunch and let maddux pretend to be the PS driver- he was in heaven!

This and That...

After having misplaced my camera for a few days...ok maybe weeks I found it, of course in the only logical place I didn't look (my purse). I have some misc. pictures to post. A couple are of maddux bustin' a move at his babysitter's wedding dance. The others are of a picnic we took as a family when Nate actually had a day off to spend with us. It was actually at Ellis Park which due the the flooding im sure we wont see it in this condition for some time. The last ones are from Maddux's first T-ball practice. After a week of cancellations we were finally able to practice on Monday. He is so excited to actually play on a team.

Ok so I know it has been a long time since of posted any pictures, but boy do i have some great ones. Maddux got his pic's taken a few weeks ago by a gal in CR who is just beginning her own business and she is awesome. You can find more of her work on her blog, Kristin Geerts Photography. The bummer is she is moving to the Davenport area real soon, so I guess we will be making some road trips! Enjoy!

back from mexico

we survived our trip to mexico and had an amazing time with all of our family as well as nic's. ashlee and nic had such a beautiful day for the wedding, it was perfect!

More Snowmobiling

nate took maddux snowmobiling on saturday before he left for his own snowmobilie trip. bud was home from school so he stopped over and took some great photos!
